I was raised working class in a racist, sexist, and homophobic rural community, which fueled a lifetime of passion for justice. Early in my career I focused on educational access for underserved students and families; first as a classroom teacher and later as an educational activist. After hearing the collective visions of activists and organizers in a national leadership program I co-created, and the role of artists in those visions, I went to art school at age 5O. Now I use art in service of social justice. To see what projects I am working on, visit me on Facebook.
